Our Road Car meets or exceeds all Federal Standards set forth from Title 49, Part 571.500.

The list below defines the standard features of all our street legal golf cars:

Headlights and taillights with turn signals and brake lights

Third brake light

License plate light

Four sets of seat belts ( On a car with a back seat, otherwise, 2 sets of seat belts)

Speedometer

Horn

DOT Approved Tires

DOT Approved Windshield

Windshield Wiper

Amber reflectors on all corners of the vehicle

Minimum speed of at least 21 mph

One drivers side external mirror

One internal mirror

17 digit Vehicle Identification Number, V.I.N.

Rentals

We offer 4 passenger, 6 passenger and Utility vehicles for rent. Our rental fleet includes both electric and gas powered vehicles. Our trained technicians do a complete service on all cars using only factory authorized parts. Our most popular rental car, the 4 passenger, is primarily the 2007 Precedent, which is Club Car's newest body style. All renters are responsible for our golf car's while they are in their possession. This includes, but is not limited to, damage, theft or loss.

All drivers must have a valid drivers license. You may cross primary roads and must obey all North Carolina traffic laws. Golf Cars are NOT permitted on the beach. Any and all fines issued by the local police departments are the responsibility of the recipient. Dan's Golf Car and Trailer Sales will assume no responsibility for any fines/tickets incurred.

Rentals Rates

We can customize a cart for any rental need. If you need a cart for a hunting expedition, special event like a wedding or for an industrial application, we will be able to help you.
